It is done with advanced ultrasound technology, which requires only a small incision, and one that will seal itself. There are no stitches required, and that means quicker healing and less chance of complications. The goal of performing this surgery is to remove your natural eye lenses, which have been ridden with cataracts. In there place will be put prosthetic implants that restore distance vision. You may still need reading glasses, however. The good news is that you can have a degree of vision that you probably gave up on ever again achieving.
